LUCENA CITY, Quezon — “Magkakaroon po tayo ng patient navigation system upang mapabilis ang pagbibigay ng kaukulang serbisyo sa mga pasyente.”
Governor Dr. Helen Tan's top priority right now is to improve the quality of health care and service in the province of Quezon's public hospitals.
Tan assured this during a recent visit to six public hospitals in the province.
The purpose of the visit is for the governor to personally see the current situation of the hospitals including the buildings, equipment, staff as well as the management to ensure that they are appropriate for the desired changes of the new administration.
Among those visited by the lady governor are San Francisco Municipal Hospital, San Narciso Municipal Hospital, Bondoc Peninsula District Hospital in Catanauan, Quezon, Unisan Medicare Community Center, Gumaca District Hospital and Dona Marta Memorial District Hospital in Atimonan, Quezon.
According to the governor, while adjusting the relevant policies, systems and processes, he will first adjust the quality of hospital service that the citizens desire.
Tan also asked all the staff of the said hospitals to provide service from the heart, concern and understanding to the patients and their companions.
Meanwhile, the provincial government of Quezon has placed help desks in every district hospital in Quezon to support patients.
The governor was accompanied in his visit to the hospitals by the heads of various provincial government offices such as the Integrated Provincial Health Office, Human Resources Office, Provincial Engineering Office, 3rd District Congressman Reynan Arrogancia and 3rd district Board Member Jj Aquivido as Chairman. of the Committee on Health and Sanitation on the part of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
