IMUS CITY, Cavite — In accordance with Executive Order No. 19-A, also known as the 'No Segregation, No Collection' policy, the city government has re-emphasized the importance of proper waste segregation.
The policy is under Executive Order No. 19-A and Republic Act No. 9003, or the 'Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000,' according to the Imus City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO).
In preparation, Imus Cenro has launched a series of seminars about the said policy on August 13 and Sunday, August 14.
At the same time, Imus Cenro visited the barangays in the city, including ACM Subd. and Dreamville 5 Subd. in Brgy. Carsadang Bago 2, Bucandala 2 villages, Anabu 1-A, Anabu 1-E, Mariano Espeleta 2, and Mariano Espeleta 3.
They also cleaned Carsadang Bago 1 Elementary School, Imus Heritage Park in Alapan 2-B, Aguinaldo Highway, Imus City Track and Field Oval in Malagasang 1-G, and Biking and Jogging Area in Medicion 2-B, and even the river that flows in Brgy. Hope 3.
There was a monitoring inspection in the business establishments of Brgy. Alapan 1-C, while the orientation of the newly hired eco-aides took place for the intensified garbage collection.
