SAN MATEO, Rizal - On August 1, the Department of Health launched the PINASLAKAS anti-Covid-19 campaign in San Mateo, the first in the entire province of Rizal.
The local government of this town successfully launched the PINASLAKAS campaign against COVID 19 with the cooperation of the Municipal Health Office and the Department of Health.
PINASLAKAS was conducted in various locations throughout San Mateo, including the church, market, and barangays, to be closer to the people, as the goal of PINASLAKAS is to increase the number of vaccinated people in the Philippines.
Important vaccination campaigns were held at Nuesta Seora De Aranzanzu Parochial School, SM City San Mateo, and throughout the municipality to protect local government employees from the disease.
Congressman Jojo Garcia and Mayor Omie Rivera personally attended the program's launch day.
According to the mayor, the town government will continue strengthening its collaboration with the DOH to protect citizens from infectious diseases.
“Ilalapit ng Pamahalaang Bayan ang bakunahan sa simbahan, sa pamilihan, at maging sa pinagtatrabahuhan ng ating mga mamamayan,” the message of the local government.
Those who have not received their initial vaccine or a booster dose are encouraged to visit the designated vaccination sites in town to expedite the vaccination procedure. Bring only your ID and a ballpoint pen. (with report from San Mateo Rizal Public Information Office)
