CARMONA, Cavite — Carmona's local government recently launched a program geared at cleaning up the environment and providing free school supplies to students.
Apart from being an environmental project, the goal of 'Basura Palit Bag Pang-Eskuwela 2022' is to meet the needs of students so that their bags are still usable next year.
The United Women's Association of Carmona, Inc. founded environmental projects for all parents and students.
This program promotes the collection of recyclable waste such as paper, cans, metal, and bottles to be exchanged for school bags rather than thrown them.
Among the products accepted are newspapers, cardboard, umbrellas, pet bottles, and many others.
