BIÑAN CITY, LAGUNA —The Biñan City government recently inaugurated the four-story Biñan City Science and Technology High School.

Mayor Attyorney Arman Dimaguila, Vice Mayor Gel Alonte, Superintendent of the Department of Education's Schools Division Edna Faura-Agustin, and other city and school officials were present for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and school opening.

In 2021, Biñan City Science High School opened its doors to provide education with a strong emphasis on science and technology. Engineering, medicine, computer technology, and other science-related fields require students to prepare for careers.

According to Mayor Dimaguila, the local government's priority now is to provide high-quality education to the youth. Dimaguila believes that having intelligent and talented students will help the city's development.

BCSTHS is 6,835 square meters of land in Silmer Village, Brgy. San Francisco. The school has a total building area of 6,548 square meters. Right now, the local government has built a building and is expecting to expand in the next few years.
