SANTA CRUZ, Laguna - The organization also aims to ensure that everyone has a healthier body, better care for individuals, and better management of health resources.
ILHZ is part of SPARC or San Pablo, Alaminos, Rizal and Calauan. SPARC ensures that every citizen has access to their health needs.

Governor Ramil Hernandez, Department of Health (DOH) IV-A Regional Director Dr. Ariel Valencia, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Rene Bagamasbad, and representatives from local governments signed the memorandum of agreement on August 16 in Alaminos.
Every three years SPARC, ratifies the ILHZ to ensure continuous support and coordination from local governments, provincial governments, DOH, civil society organizations, and others.
According to Dr. Rene Bagamasbad, the governor's signature demonstrates that his office supports the implementation of SPARC ILHZ projects.
“Ang Memorandum of Agreement ay renewal ng mga LGUs to join the Interlocal Health Zone. As member they are committing their health resources to be utilize by the ILHZ, at suportado ng Provincial Health office ang pagamutan natin sa San Pablo para sa ILHZ”, said Bagamasbad.
According to the signed agreement, the Laguna Provincial Hospital - San Pablo District Hospital remains the SPARC's Core Referral Hospital, the Laguna Medical Center in Sta Cruz is expecting to meet the citizens' medical needs. (with report from Laguna PIO)
