SANTA ROSA CITY, Laguna —The Land Transportation Office recently opened its Vehicle Registration Extension Facility in Santa Rosa's Barangay Market Area (LTO VREF).
LTO Assistant Regional Director Atty April R Casabuena, Mayor Arlene B Arcillas, and many division chiefs and heads of offices from LTO-Region4A lead the inaguration.
According to the LTO4A, the construction and opening of the LTO VREF is part of their agency's goal to bring government services closer to the people.
The drivers closer to the city's residents having this facility will bring a needed service, according to Mayor Arlene, who thanked LTO 4A for their assistance.
He said, aside from the ease of doing business, it will also help reduce or decongest the number of vehicles registering at the nearby LTO District Office in Biñan City.
“This facility makes it more convenient and efficient for our local motorists and owners to register their vehicles. The proximity of the VREF will make it easier for local vehicle owners,” said the mayor.
LTO VREF Santa Rosa is ready to provide services to citizens who want to renew the registration of their motorcycles or other vehicles classified as light vehicles.
Mayor Arlene hopes that this facility will be helpful to motorists now and for years to come.
