19 cooperatives, 14 leaders receive CICLEDO awards in Imus

IMUS, Cavite - The City of Imus Cooperative, Livelihood, and Entrepreneurial Development Office (CICLEDO) recognized 14 cooperative leaders and awarded 19 awards to cooperatives at the recently concluded 2022 Imus Galing Koop Awards and Recognition Night held at the Imus Sports Complex recently.

Imus Vendors Development Cooperative (IVEDECO) bagged awards after receiving five awards while Damayan sa Cavite Community MultiPurpose Cooperative - DACCO MPC (DACCO MPC) and Employees Development Cooperative (EEDC) were recognized as a hall of famers.



The One Cooperative, One Product (OCOP) also won, and Kapit-Baryo Multipurpose Cooperative won the first prize.

Cooperative Development Authority Regional Director Giovanni Platero, Committee Chair on Cooperatives Councilor Jelyn Maliksi, City Administrator Jeffrey Purisima, CICDC Chairperson Fr. Art Joseph Balagat, and City Cooperative Officer Dr. Emmanuel Santiago attended the event.



The 2022 Imus Galing Koop Awards are part of the celebration of Cooperative Month every October, based on Presidential Proclamation No. 493 the year 2003.
