ANGONO, Rizal - DOLE Rizal Provincial Director Marivic Martinez formally awarded the recognition plaques accepted by the town of Angono Rizal, through its PESO, as the 2022 National Bayanihan Service Awardee for the Hall of Famers Category.

This recognition is due to the Angono's unique and innovative methods of continuing to provide work and livelihood services to its citizens despite the changes brought about by the new normal.



Some of these are the Digitalized Employment Facilitation Services, Extended Assistance to Displaced OFWs, and Recovering Persons Who Used Drugs.

"This honor is part of our participatory and systemic governance where all sectors, all players, private companies, various government agencies such as DOLE, OWWA, and TESDA, and CSO partners, we encourage to participate. So that we can further facilitate the provision of jobs and livelihoods for our countrymen..." said Mayor Vice Calderon while accepting the recognition.



Angono is one of three Philippine winners chosen from among the eight nominees for Best PESO Hall of Famers. Angono is one of the nominees for this award, along with other cities and provinces.
