KAWIT, Cavite - Classes in both primary and secondary levels were suspended in both public and private schools in Kawit, Cavite, until November 9.
Under the order of Mayor Angelo Aguinaldo, the local government will allocate enough time for their residents of the town to recover from the devastation of typhoon Paeng.
According to the mayor, apart from property damage, they still have compatriots who have been evacuated from schools.
Department of Education-Calabarzon Regional Director, Assistant Secretary Alberto Escobarte, personally visited the public schools in the province of Cavite to find out the assistance that the government can provide to the affected schools today, November 2.
