LUCENA CITY - The province of Quezon, which boasts a large artist community, was engulfed in the dreamland-like Christmas spirit.
The municipal hall, churches, parishes, streets, and amusement spots in the province have become popular destinations for residents of Quezon and neighboring provinces praising Quezonian artistry and creativity.
This year, the town of General Luna renovated their lighthouse facing Tayabas Bay by wrapping it in LED lights in the shape of a spiral staircase.
On December 15, 2022, Tiaong transformed into a winter wonderland, displaying all of its majesty.
Christmas is no longer just a major holiday for Catholics; it is also a festival for everyone. This year's theme was Paskong Quezonian, Bida ang Pagmamahalan.
There was also an attraction in Perez Park in Lucena City that people could enjoy with their families and friends and that is still open to the public, which launched on November 25, 2022.
Aside from Lucena City, the Quezon town has a simultaneous switch on: lantern of hope, street of lights, and decors, all of which are brightened up with Christmas decorations and activities.
The towns of Lucban, Pagbilao, San Andres, and Tagkawayan are also illuminated during the holiday season by their bright Christmas lights.
Some activities were organized by each town local government unit in the province of Quezon, giving people and tourists the opportunity to participate in the Christmas atmosphere with locals, such as hymn singing and music shows.
Local governments and parishes have prioritized security, social order, and traffic safety to ensure a peaceful Christmas for both residents and visitors.

The Quezonian Christmas Chorale Competition Grand Finals and Awarding Ceremony took place on December 23, 2022 at the Quezon Convention Center in Lucena City.
The Oroquieta Chamber Singers were declared Grand Winners, followed by the Calayan Minstrels and the Kalilayan Euphonics Voices.
The competition was judged by Rosette Mallari Valencia, Jethro Jeremiah Adriano, and Reginald Nicolas.
Meanwhile, there was an awarding ceremony for the completed Puto-Bumbong, Bibingka, Christmas Dish Cooking Contest, and Christmas Tree Decoration Contest.
All Quezon Christmas activities were organized by the entire Provincial Tourism Office, led by Chief of the Office Nesler Louies Almagro, in collaboration with the various offices of the Quezon Provincial Government.
In a statement on Facebook Quezon Governor Angelina "Helen" Tan said, "Bago matapos ang taong 2022, ating nasaksihan ang pagsibol ng bagong pag-asa sa ating lalawigan. Sa kabila ng mga unos na dumaan — bagyo, pandemya, at sunod-sunod na dagok sa ating buhay, matagumpay pa rin natin itong nalagpasan.
She also stated that everyone's courage and resilience were put to the test when confronted with problems, and that they should learn from it.
"Sa pagpasok ng 2023, baunin natin ang mga aral na ating natutunan upang patuloy na makamit ang minimithi nating tagumpay. Sama-sama nating harapin ang bagong taong punong-puno ng pag-asa at pangarap. Kasama ninyo kami sa Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Quezon sa pag-aasam na magpatuloy ang malusog na pagbabago at masiglang asenso sa ating probinsya." she says.
