DSWD Calabarzon presenting "PANATA Ko sa Bayan Ko Awards 2022" to Mila Española, CSWD Officer and Marie Lualhati, City Information Officer at DSWD 72nd Anniversary held in Tagaytay City on February 8.

BATANGAS CITY - The Batangas City Government was recently awarded the "PANATA Ko sa Bayan Ko Awards 2022" by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office-Calabarzon (Region 4A) for its consistent adherence to best local good governance services and practices, as well as commitment to the department's program and service implementation last year.

This is the Special Award on Good Practice in the Implementation of Social Welfare and Development Laws awarded to the city government of Batangas, recognition plaque for the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) as a nominee for the "CY 2022 DSWD PAGLARAY AWARD-GOOD PRACTICES”, Certificate of Appreciation for the Batangas City Alay Lakad Foundation for its participation in the 2022 Panata ko sa Bayan – Salamat Po Awards-Best Volunteer Group Category as part of the celebration of the DSWD 72nd Anniversary held in Tagaytay City on February 8.



Palakat Batangas City, which is the official Facebook page of the city government, was also given a Certificate of Appreciation as a nominee in the Social Media Advocates Gawad Ulat Category.

The awards were accepted by CSWD Officer Mila Española and City Information Officer Marie Lualhati.



"The PANATA sa Bayan Ko Awards demonstrate the strength and goodwill of partners involved in the development and dissemination of DSWD programs," said DSWD CALABARZON Director, Dr. Barry Chua.

The DSWD also reported accomplishments, such as their quick response to disaster victims, vulnerable sectors, and the most vulnerable citizens of the country.
