BATANGAS CIYT - A newly constructed Provincial Social Welfare Development Office (PSWDO) Multi-Purpose building of the Provincial Government of Batangas located at Brgy. Bolbok, Batangas City was inaugurated today, February 3, 2023.

Governor Hermilando Mandanas led the inauguration of the new facilities projects of the Provincial Government said the new PSWDO Multi-Purpose building would enable the Provincial Government to have a venue specifically serve the purpose of Provincial Emergency Response Committee and the other stakeholders from the Cities, Municipalities and private entities to craft intervention and initiative to address the needs of the victim survivors.



PSWDO Multi-Purpose building under the care of PSWDO is one of the new facilities being built by the Provincial Government that will also offer assistive services for the less fortunate such as the distribution of eye glasses and hearing aids, holistic physical rehabilitation for persons with disabilities (PWDs), and others.

DILG Batangas Provincial Office as part of the monitoring and evaluation of the Local Budget Circular (LBC) No. 134 Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Assistance Program (DRRAP) FY 2021 was part of the Ribbon-Cutting ceremony also said the new building purpose is to protect and meet the needs of the people affected by the disaster, under the guidance and monitoring of the Provincial Office of Social Welfare and Development (PSWDO).



This would also serve as an additional space for storage of goods and place in preparing for the distribution of relief goods for victims of disasters

The building was built with funds from Local Budget Circular 134 – Local Government Support Fund – Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Assistance Program (LGSF-DRRAP), in coordination with the provincial governor, Governor Hermilando “DoDo” Mandanas.
