LUCENA CITY - The Provincial Government of Quezon received three awards from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), which recently celebrated its 72nd founding anniversary at the Tagaytay International Convention Center, in recognition of its excellent implementation and support of the programs of the agency.

Quezon province received three PaNaTa Ko sa Bayan Awards - Most Comprehensive Report, Good Practice, and Most Responsive PSWDO - for its proper formulation of the LGU Compliance Monitoring Report in the recent Implementation of Social Welfare and Development (SWD) Laws Online Monitoring System for the 2nd Semester C.Y. 2021.

Anchored on this year's theme, 'DSWD@72: Kaagapay sa Pagbangon, Katuwang sa Bawat Hamon,' the celebration recognizes the DSWD workforce as champions of the Department's brand of sincere and trusted public service, as well as the institution's core strength in the performance of its mandate.
