CITY OF DASMARIÑAS, Cavite — The city government here has partnered with the Cavite State University (CvSu) to establish a learning center that will provide quality education to its residents.
The partnership was formalized in a memorandum of agreement signed by City Mayor Jenny Austria-Barzaga and CvSu President Dr. Hernandez Robles on February 27.
In a statement, Barzaga said the initiative aims to bring quality education closer to the city constituents, giving access to training and education.
“Education is a vital aspect of human development, and we are committed to ensuring that our citizens have access to quality education. Hence, the establishment of this new learning center is a major step towards realizing this goal,” Barzaga said.
She added that the establishment of the learning center is seen to place the city as one of the major educational hubs in the region.
“With a focus on delivering high-quality education and training, it has the potential to grow as one of the key educational institutions supporting the expansion and improvement of the community,” Barzaga said.
Under the agreement, CvSu-City of Dasmariñas Learning Center will offer city residents a wide range of academic programs and courses, including undergraduate courses.
The learning center is expected to commence operations in the coming months. (Ruel Francisco, PIA-CAVITE)
