CALAMBA, Laguna - To improve their livelihoods, more farmers are encouraged to use mechanized farming methods. It is expected that farmers farming practices will become more productive and efficient, allowing them to produce more crops and earn higher profits.

The agricultural machinery and equipment have been turned over to the Farmers Cooperatives and Association of Laguna recently. It is part of the local government's efforts to boost the agriculture sector and improve the livelihoods of farmers in Laguna.

This is expect increased productivity and efficiency in their farming practices, allowing them to produce more crops and earn higher profits. More farmers are encouraged to adopt mechanized farming methods to improve their livelihoods.

The equipment includes tractors, hand tractors, rice threshers, and other farming tools that will help increase productivity and efficiency in farming activities.

This turnover is expected to boost the productivity of farmers in the region and help them achieve better yields. It is also a step towards modernizing agriculture in the area and promoting sustainable farming practices.

This is with the help of FAES-OPAg and the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMech), where it is expected that the machinery used in harvesting and post-production will be of great help to farmers to improve the quality of farming in the province.

In addition, the collaboration between FAES-OPAg and PhilMech will provide training and technical assistance to farmers on the proper use and maintenance of the machinery, ensuring its long-term benefits for the community. This initiative will not only increase productivity but also contribute to the economic growth of the province.

"Under our agricultural programs, we ensure that farmers and everyone involved in the agricultural sector reach and enjoy the benefits they deserve, including new machinery and technology and even training for more information," according to Gov. Ramil Hernandez's Facebook post.

This will ultimately lead to a more sustainable and efficient agricultural industry, which will not only benefit the farmers but also the consumers who rely on their products. The government's investment in agriculture will have a ripple effect on the economy, creating more job opportunities and boosting local businesses.
