LIPA, Batangas - As part of the upcoming Labor Day celebration in Tanauan, Mayor Sonny Perez Collantes met today with representatives of the SSS Lipa Branch to strengthen programs for city government job-order employees.
The SSS Lipa Branch has agreed to provide assistance in the form of financial and livelihood programs to support the job-order employees. This partnership aims to promote a more stable and secure working environment for the staff.
In addition, Collantes hopes that this will boost staff morale and improve their overall well-being.
“The programs aim to provide more benefits and security for the job-order employees," he said.
He also emphasized the importance of providing fair compensation and benefits to job-order employees who have been working hard for the city despite the challenges brought by the pandemic.
"This is the local government's method to provide additional benefits to our civil servants, who are our partners in delivering services for the citizens,” he added.
Meanwhile, SSS Vice President of Luzon South II Alejandre Diaz and SSS Lipa Branch, led by Mr. Joseph Pedley Britannico, are our city chiefs in solidarity with the agency's SSS Run After Contributions Evaders (R.A.C.E.) campaign.
