TANAY, Rizal — Residents can expect faster service now that the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has established a satellite office in Tanay, Rizal.
Mayor Rafael Tanjuatco and DSWD 4A Regional Director Barry Chua formally inaugurated the additional DSWD office at Tanay Municipal Hall on Monday, May 15.
Chua said in his message that the satellite office aims to accelerate and bring their agency's services, particularly the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program, closer to the public.
He also emphasized the importance of the partnership between the local government and DSWD in ensuring that the needs of vulnerable sectors are addressed promptly and efficiently. The new office will serve as a convenient and accessible venue for Tanay residents to avail of social welfare services.
Tanjuatco expressed his support and said that the DSWD satellite office will be the best way to meet the needs of every Tanay citizen, especially in the medical and financial aspects, even in neighboring towns.
At the same time, the two officials signed an agreement for the operation of the DSWD satellite office as well as the implementation of the AICS program. (with reports from FC/DSWD4A)
