GENERAL NAKAR, Quezon - The town received machinery to help farmers cultivate their lands, which is a significant step toward increasing agricultural productivity and improving farmers' livelihoods.
Recently, Mayor Eliseo R. Ruzol Sr. personally went with Municipal Administrator Rosario Ruzol, MPDC Engr. Arnulfo Tena, EnP, MBA, and Municipal Agriculturist John Leo Tena to the Bowa Demo Farm, where Bowa is the manufacturer of agricultural machinery and equipment such as forage chopper, multipurpose shredder, chipper, and others that will speed up and save on farming.
During the visit, they were able to witness the efficiency and effectiveness of Bowa's equipment in action, which could greatly benefit local farmers by increasing their productivity and income. They also discussed potential partnerships with Bowa to provide training and support for farmers utilizing the equipment.
The distribution of machinery is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy and promote sustainable development in the area.
Its purpose is to provide modern machinery to farmers, further develop the agricultural sector, and help brave farmers speed up their work.
Furthermore, the partnership could also lead to the creation of job opportunities for local residents who can be trained to operate and maintain the machinery. This would further boost the economic growth of the area and reduce unemployment rates.
In this regard, the welfare of farmers and food security will continue to be given attention and focus by the Local Government in the town of General Nakar.
