LUCENA CITY - A meeting took place recently between delegates from the company Mega Prime Foods Inc. and officials from the Lucena City government. This is also to announce the following project that is going to be a part of their feeding program for Lucenahin.
They were looking for assistance and support in order to help them with their upcoming food donation drive, which was intended to assist those members of the community who were less fortunate during these challenging times.
The project aims to provide nutritious meals to families in need, especially those who have been severely affected by the pandemic. Prime Foods Inc. hopes to make a positive impact on the lives of the people in Lucena City through this initiative.
Mayor Mark Alcala welcomed the representatives of the company, Regional Sales Manager Dan Del Castillo, Territory Sales Manager Plevy Malundas Garcera, and Supervisor Sks Marketing Mabelle Mapalad, and he happily interacted with them.
According to the guests, this is part of their MEGA Malasakit Mission under the Community Social Responsibility Program of Mega Prime Foods Inc.
They are the target of such a feeding program that can feed about two thousand people.
In this regard, the company requested support from the mayor in relation to the sourcing of beneficiaries and the place to carry out the program.
The company aims to provide nutritious meals to those who are in need and promote social responsibility within the community. They also plan to collaborate with local organizations and volunteers to ensure the success of the feeding program.
Alcala's response was positive in its desire to provide more useful programs to the Lucenahins. The feeding program aims to address the issue of hunger and malnutrition in the community, particularly among vulnerable groups such as children and the elderly. By involving local organizations and volunteers, the program also seeks to foster a sense of community involvement and responsibility towards those in need.
