ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal - Because barbers travel to this town on a regular basis, getting a haircut here eliminates the need to travel outside of town to a barbershop.

A caravan goes around Antipolo every Saturday, where, based on Mayor Andeng Ynares Facebook post, it delivers various services such as free haircuts.

This initiative not only provides convenience to the residents but also promotes the importance of personal grooming and hygiene. Additionally, the presence of a parlor and barber shop in the town center may also attract more people to visit and support local businesses.

Aside from haircuts, parlors and barber shops in Antipolo also offer other grooming services such as hair coloring, shaving, and beard trimming. These shops also serve as a place for socializing and catching up with friends and neighbors.

Ynares said this not only promotes economic growth in the community but also fosters a sense of community among its residents. In addition, the availability of these services in the town center saves residents time and money from having to travel to other areas for their grooming needs.

"No more bad hair days in Antipolo! Our brand new mobile salon is ready to go! It is fully air-conditioned and Wi-Fi ready for relaxation and comfort. You may never go out," she said.
