BATANGAS CITY - In accordance with Governor DoDo Mandanas' initiative to organize and improve the quality of small businesses in the province, the Provincial Cooperative, Livelihood and Enterprise Development Office (PCLEDO) provided livelihood assistance to about 4,256 people last year.
1,141 individuals, 243 sectoral groups, and 2,872 entrepreneurs are among the beneficiaries, according to PCLEDO data under the direction of Mrs. Celia Atienza, their department head.
A total of ₱6,858,700 was distributed by PCLEDO, where each individual and sectoral group received financial assistance worth 3,000–5,000 and 20,000–50,000 for entrepreneurs.
The program provided various forms of assistance, such as training, financing, and market linkages, to help these small businesses thrive. With the success of the program, Governor DoDo Mandanas plans to continue supporting and empowering small businesses in the province.
The provision of financial assistance is in line with the governor's goal to help every Batangueño gradually increase and grow their livelihoods.
