ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal - To develop leadership skills among young individuals through various activities and workshops, Antipolo City held the 2023 Junior Chamber International (JCI) Future Leaders Academy (FLA), recently held at the First Pacific Leadership Academy in Rizal.

The FLA was a success as it garnered participation from 80 local organizations, providing opportunities for the youth to enhance their leadership potential and contribute to the community's development.

Under the leadership of Coach Glendo Dasmariñas and 2023 National Skills Development Director James Anthony Lim, the participants' leadership skills were shaped in their respective local organizations.

He said that the FLA provided a platform for the participants to learn from experienced mentors and engage in meaningful discussions on various leadership topics.

"The FLA aims to develop leadership skills and promote community involvement among young professionals. The participants engaged in various workshops, team-building activities, and community service projects throughout the duration of the academy," he said.

The event featured renowned speakers who shared their expertise and insights on leadership, inspiring the attendees to become effective leaders in their respective fields.

More than 120 participants from more than 80 local organizations participated in the event, making it a great opportunity for networking and building relationships with other professionals in the industry.

The participation of these organizations signifies their support for the development of future leaders in the community.

The JCI Quezon City Capitol and its 2023 Local Orgazation President, Patrick Maglinao, extended their sincere thanks to all those who participated, supported, and volunteered to ensure the success of this year's FLA event.

Maglinao said the organization looks forward to continuing its mission of empowering young professionals and creating positive change in the community through future events and initiatives.
