LUCENA CITY, Quezon - Candidates for "Ginoo at Binibining Niyogyugan 2023" were officially introduced on June 24 at the Queen Margarette Hotel in Lucena City.

This event, organized by Quezon Provincial Tourism Officer Nesler Louies Almagro, is a warm-up for the upcoming festival in August, where 25 Gentlemen and 30 Ladies will compete in talent, beauty, and ramping on behalf of their respective towns.



Aside from showcasing the beauty and talents of the candidates, the pageant also highlights the importance of coconut as a major source of livelihood for many communities in Quezon. It is a celebration of their culture and traditions, as well as an opportunity to attract more visitors to the province.

The "Ginoo at Binibining Niyogyugan 2023" pageant is a highly anticipated event in Quezon Province, as it showcases the beauty, talent, and intelligence of its local youth. The winners of the pageant will serve as ambassadors for the province and promote its tourism industry.

Chairperson Committee on Tourism Board Member JJ Aquivido, on the other hand, expressed his support and hoped that each participant would be able to showcase their talent in the competition.

He also emphasized the importance of recognizing not just physical beauty, but also inner beauty and intelligence in the pageant.

According to Aquivido, the pageant is not just about crowning a winner, but also about providing opportunities for personal growth and development for the participants. He believes that the pageant will help build confidence and self-esteem among the youth in the province.
