GUINAYANGAN, Quezon - A program that aims to provide training and support for aspiring business owners aged 18 and above was recently launched in the town of Guinayangan.

Dubbed the 3PK BIDA Youth Project or the Panimulang Pangkabuhayan Para sa Kabataan (3PK) Business Improvement and Development Assessment (BIDA) Youth Project, it is expected to help boost the local economy by empowering the youth to become entrepreneurs and contribute to their community's growth.

3PK BIDA Youth Project was led by Quezon 4th District Representative Keith Micah "Atty. Mike" Tan, who recognized the potential of the youth in driving economic growth in their communities. He said the project is funded by the local government and will be implemented in partnership with various business organizations.

He also said that the program aims to empower youth by providing them with opportunities to become self-sufficient and financially independent.

"The goal of the project is to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration among young business owners by giving them access to training and resources to launch and grow their businesses. The 3PK BIDA Youth Project is supported by local government and business organizations, and it is expected to have a major impact on the local economy and equip the next generation of leaders." Tan said.

With the launch of this program, an initial P20,000 investment was made available to each qualified group, which included young people from District 1, Aloneros, District 4, Set B, Set C, Set D, Poblacion 1, Poblacion 2, and Poblacion 3.

This seed funding, according to the local government of (LGU) Guinayangan, will enable the participants to start their own small businesses and put into practice the skills they have learned from the trainings and workshops.

Through the 3PK BIDA Youth Project, participants will undergo a series of trainings and workshops on entrepreneurship, financial management, and marketing strategies.

The 3PK BIDA Youth Project also provides participants with mentorship opportunities to help them develop their business ideas into viable businesses.

Tan's message to the youth was to work hard and hope that the program will be successful in the people of Guinayangan.

He also emphasized the importance of taking advantage of opportunities like this to improve their skills and knowledge, and to use them as a stepping stone towards achieving their goals.

The launch was a great success, with the youth expressing their enthusiasm and eagerness to participate in the program.

The young congressman added that the youth will not be left alone, he will take care of them and be with them until the end of the program to ensure that they receive the support they need to succeed.

He also encouraged the community to continue supporting the program and its participants, as their success will ultimately benefit everyone in Guinayangan.

He also expressed gratitude to the local government unit of Guinayangan for its assistance in carrying out this project and emphasized the importance of collaboration between government and community in effecting positive change.

The project organizers are optimistic that this initiative will pave the way for a brighter future for the young people in these communities.

According to them, the project also aims to address the issue of unemployment among the youth in the area by providing them with alternative sources of income.

Guinayangan officials said they will continue to support and monitor the progress of the participants even after the training program to ensure their success in their chosen businesses.

The Fourth District Board Member, Harold D. Butardo attended the launch along with Provincial Director, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Julieta L. Tadiosa, DTI-CFIDP Project Coordinator, Mr. Lawrence Joseph Velasco, and the entire force of the town local government led by Former Mayor Cesar Isaac lll, VM Norman R. Dublois, Sangguniang Bayan Members, and the partner in organizing the program for the youth.
