CALAMBA CITY, Laguna - In continuation of the Laguna Scholars program by Governor Ramil Hernandez and Congresswoman Ruth Hernandez, the distribution of the scholars' allowance was carried out at the Laguna Provincial Capitol Extension in the city of Calamba on May 26, 2023.
Gov. Hernandez said that the Laguna Scholars program is a testament to their commitment to prioritize education and invest in the future of the youth.
The distribution of the scholars' allowance will greatly help alleviate the financial burden of their families and enable them to focus on their studies.
The program aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students in Laguna who are struggling to pursue their education due to financial constraints.
The distribution of the scholars' allowance is a testament to the government's commitment to invest in the youth and their future.
As many as 4,164 young students from the city of Calamba and the town of Los Baños received their allowance of P 5,000 pesos in one semester.
This initiative not only supports the students' education but also helps alleviate the financial burden on their families. It is hoped that this program will continue to benefit more students in the future.
This amount is not only a big help to their education, but also to their parents who are diligently trying to support their children's education.
