CALAMBA CITY, Laguna - A Likhang Laguna Crafted Elegance Unveiling Laguna's Finest Creations and Fashion Exhibit was successfully launched on June 28, 2023, at the Venice Grand Canal, Mckinley Hill, Taguig City.

The Laguna Provincial Government, in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry-LLaguna and Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, brought back the Tara, Pasyal Na! Mall Tourism Campaign to promote local craftsmanship and boost tourism in the province.



The fashion show featured the exquisite creations of Laguna's talented designers, emphasizing their distinct blend of traditional and modern aesthetics.

Well-known models from the province have stepped forward to showcase these fashion pieces on the runway, further elevating the local fashion industry.

Laguna-made bags, shoes, and clothing products made by fashion icons in the province are displayed in the mall, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and innovation of Laguna's fashion industry.

The campaign also featured interactive workshops and demonstrations, allowing visitors to learn about the intricate process behind each handmade product and fostering a deeper appreciation for Laguna's rich cultural heritage.

Governor Ramil Hernandez's representative is Provincial Administrator Atty. Dulce Rebanal, who gave a message to all who attended and participated in the very important program, expressing gratitude for their support and emphasizing the significance of preserving and promoting Laguna's fashion industry.

She highlighted the positive impact it has on the local economy and the importance of passing down traditional craftsmanship to future generations.

She said this is also part of the Love Laguna campaign that refers to the good nature of the people of Laguna province, to self-made products, to tourism, sightseeing,campaign,which and dining experiences, and to the overall cultural identity of Laguna.

"The program aims to not only showcase the talent and creativity of local fashion designers but also foster collaboration and innovation within the industry, ultimately contributing to the sustainable growth and development of Laguna's fashion sector." she added.
