According to the governor, the agreement will pave the way for the development of new tourism products and activities that will showcase the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Laguna.

The pointed agreement highlights the need for collaboration and cooperation among the three municipalities to develop and promote their respective tourist destinations.

He also said that the partnership will also create job opportunities for the locals and increase the revenue of the province's tourism industry.

The purpose of the program is to preserve and protect the Cavinti Falls, also known as Pagsanjan Falls, and Pagsanjan Gorge National Park, which are among the wealth and attractions of the town, as well as the proper operation and re-strengthening of the tourism industry, which is considered one of the most beautiful falls in the whole country.

It is also expected to create more job opportunities and generate income for the local communities.

The agreement includes the joint promotion of various tourist attractions and activities such as river rafting, trekking, and cultural tours.

Additionally, the municipalities will work together to improve infrastructure and facilities for tourists, ensuring a memorable experience for visitors.

In the testimony of Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Maria Esperanza Christina Garcia Frasco believes that unity is the key of the LGUs along with the support of the provincial government to restore the vitality of the tourism program in the area.

Also participating in the program were DOT Region IV-A Dir. Marites Castro and the three local municipal governments: Mayor Cesar Areza of Pagsanjan, Mayor Arrantlee Arroyo of Cavinti and Mayor Rolando Ubatay of Lumban, along with some officials and guests.
