PAGBILAO, Quezon - Pagbilao Energy Corporation (PEC), a joint venture of Therma Luzon Incorporation and TeaM Energy Corporation, is partnering with the Edible Landscaping Project to help local farmers by providing crops and various farming equipment to ensure food security in Pagbilao.

Representatives from PEC, local government officials, and farmers' associations came together recently at the Pagbilao Municipal Covered Court for the ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing and turnover ceremony for the "Edible Landscaping Project."

The event highlighted the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders involved in promoting sustainable agriculture and improving farmers' livelihoods in the community.

The project is part of a local government initiative to promote food security and environmental sustainability.

Farmers will receive training and support through this project to adopt organic farming practices, enhancing their skills and increasing their income opportunities.

The ceremony was presided over by Mayor Angelica Portes, and TeaM Energy External Affairs Head Froilan Gregory Romualdez III represented Pagbilao Energy Corporation.

According to Portes, the project aims to not only improve the livelihoods of local farmers but also contribute to the community's overall development.

She emphasized the significance of sustainable agriculture in ensuring a stable and nutritious food supply for future generations.
