NAGCARLAN, Laguna - Senator Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go made a point of visiting Nagcarlan, Laguna, on Tuesday, June 20, and assisting the town's 1,500 indigent families.

During his visit, Sen. Go emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among local officials and constituents in order to achieve progress and development for Nagcarlan.



He encouraged everyone to work together towards a common goal of improving the quality of life in their community.

Aside from the personal assistance of the senator, the Department of Social Welfare and Development also provides separate assistance to the beneficiaries.

In Senator Bong Go's message, he says he will continue to support and be ready to provide service to those who need it most to the best of his ability.

The senator also thanked the local officials who accompanied him on the relief mission, including Congressman Amben Amante, Mayor Elmor Vita, Vice Mayor Rexon Arevalo, and members of the Sangguniang Bayan.

Meanwhile, Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez, along with Congresswoman Ruth Hernandez, attended the event to express his support and appreciation for Sen. Go's efforts to help the community

The governor stated that the senator's visit gave the people of Nagcarlan hope and grace, and that they were grateful for the assistance.

In addition, the ribbon cutting ceremony of the newly renovated Pamilihang Bayan ng Nagcarlan was performed by Sen. Go and Gov. Hernandez, symbolizing their joint commitment to improving economic opportunities for the people of Nagcarlan.

The renovated market will provide a better environment for local vendors to sell their products and will help boost the town's economy.

Sen. Go's office was the way to finance the construction of the said market , which shows his dedication to supporting the development of local communities.

Furthermore, Gov. Hernandez expressed his gratitude to Sen. Go for his unwavering support in the progress of Nagcarlan and hopes that this project will inspire other local officials to prioritize the economic growth of their respective towns.

This project is just one example of the many initiatives that Go has spearheaded to improve the lives of Filipinos across the country.

He has been a strong advocate for infrastructure development, healthcare, and education, among other sectors, and continues to work tirelessly towards the betterment of the nation.
