MENDEZ, Cavite - The provincial government's medical mission team recently brought free healthcare services closer to the doorsteps of residents of Barangay Asis I, II, and III in response to the consituents of Mendez, Cavite's need for medical assistance.
The technical team from the Office of the Provincial Health Officer was led by doctors Michael Joe Medina and Arnhem Patio, who attended to the medical needs of 283 patients.
The medical mission team provided a wide range of services, including consultations, laboratory tests, and medication prescriptions.
The residents of Barangay Asis I, II, and III greatly benefited from the expertise and dedication of the medical professionals, ensuring that their healthcare needs were met effectively and efficiently.
Meanwhile, OPG-Extension, under the supervision of Charlene Ann Samala, led the distribution of medicines, vitamin supplements, and mosquito repellent lotion.
The team also conducted health education sessions to raise awareness about common illnesses and preventive measures, empowering the residents to take charge of their own health.
This comprehensive approach not only addressed immediate medical needs but also promoted long-term well-being in the community.
The beneficiaries of the aforementioned health outreach program also received medication donations from ValueMed Generics Pharmacy.
