Gov. Hernandez graces CCSA's Agung ng Lahi 2023 Araw ng Parangal

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna - Calamba City School for the Arts (CCSA)'s “Agung ng Lahi 2023 Araw ng Parangal” was held recently at the Chipeco Hall, Jose Rizal Memorial School in Calamba City. It was graced by the Governor of Laguna, Ramil Hernandez.

Stating that the CCSA is a beacon of artistic talent in the region. Governor Hernandez said, " The event showcased the exceptional skills and creativity of the students, and I am proud to support their artistic endeavors. The dedication and hard work of the faculty and staff in nurturing these young talents is truly commendable."



Hernandez also encouraged the students to continue reaching for their dreams by persevering in their chosen art expression and pushing the boundaries of their creativity.

He highlighted the transformative power of art and how it can inspire change and bring communities together.

He also urged the students to use their artistic abilities to make a positive impact in society and contribute to the cultural enrichment of Calamba City.

The said event is held annually to recognize and honor students, from grades 7 to 12, who excel in all facets of the arts, such as painting, dance, writing, singing, and theater, among others.

CCSA is an institution whose aim is to be an instrument of the preservation of the culture of Calamba City by honing the talents of the youth, enriching their knowledge in the arts, and igniting their passion to be excellent.

CCSA's mission is to create a school for the arts among students with potential talents in Music Arts, Visual Arts, Theater Arts, Literary Arts, Dance Arts, and Media Arts to enable them to develop their functional skills as they cross over from one skill to another for the culture.
