CALAMBA CITY, Laguna - Laguna's local government continues to provide free training and workshops to its residents in order to improve their skills and knowledge.

A workshop on entrepreneurship was recently held here and attended by 70 members of Serbisyong Tama Kababaihan o STK, a women's organization in Laguna.

Through the Ratsada Hanapbuhay program, Governor Ramil Hernandez and Congresswoman Ruth Hernandez initiated the workshop to empower women in Laguna and provide them with the necessary tools and knowledge to start their own businesses.

The workshop covered a variety of topics, including business planning, marketing strategies, and financial management, providing participants with valuable skills for success in the entrepreneurial world.

The local government intends to provide ongoing mentorship and networking opportunities for these women in order to help them thrive in their chosen ventures.

This is pre-training, and participants were also given a free training kit to help them get started with their extra livelihood and extra income in Calamba City.

The training program was created to empower women by providing them with the knowledge and tools they need to start their own businesses.

The local government is committed to ensuring the long-term success of these Calamba women entrepreneurs by providing ongoing mentorship and networking opportunities.

Some of the skills taught during the training program include proper mixing of liquid detergent, dishwashing soap, making bags, and making rags. T

These abilities allow the women not only to create their own products, but also to potentially expand their businesses and cater to a larger market.

The Special Livelihood Office and the Sectoral Concerns Office are two government agencies that support and provide resources for women entrepreneurs.
