CARDONA, Rizal- Sen. Imee Marcos visited Rizal to assess the current state of the province and address the concerns of its residents.

During her visit, PBGEN Carlito Gaces, Regional Director PRO 4A, and PCOL Dominic Baccay, Provicial Director, led the provision of security during the senator's visit to the towns of Binangonan, Cardona, and Morong in the province of Rizal on July 22, 2023.

Marcos provided Assistance to Individuals in Crisis situations, or AICS in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations, or AICS, is a government program that distributes financial assistance to individuals as well as those needed to start businesses and agriculture.

The program aims to alleviate the economic burden of individuals facing crisis situations such as natural disasters, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances.

It plays a crucial role in promoting social welfare and empowering individuals to rebuild their lives and communities.

Aside from the aid she brought, the senator also distributed nutribuns that are part of the program of former president Ferdinand Marcos Sr., her father, with the aim of reviving and continuing the good cause of providing adequate nutrition to children and citizens.

The senator thanked the local government officials for their efforts in organizing the event and ensuring the safety of everyone involved.

She also expressed her gratitude to the police for their commitment to maintaining peace and order during the program.
