TANAUAN, Batangas - A Batangueño kid has emerged as the champion in various fields in the prestigious World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA). This talented individual showcased exceptional skills and talent, impressing judges and audiences from around the world.
Resolution of Recognition was passed by the local government to honor and celebrate the achievements of Yeuhan Santi Yñigo Millo, making him a source of pride for the local community.
WCOPA is an international competition that brings together performers from different countries to showcase their talents in various categories such as singing, dancing, acting, and modeling.
The competition was held in Anaheim, California, in the United States, on August 20, 2023, where Yeuhan competed against hundreds of other talented individuals.
Millo is one of the representatives of the Philippines in the said international competition, and he has been training for this opportunity for years. His dedication and hard work have paid off, as he has impressed the judges and audience with his exceptional skills and stage presence.
He was presented as a WCOPA 2023 Semi-Finalist, Champion of the World Division Winner, and Multi Gold Medalist: Gold Medalist - Latin Category, Gold Medalist - Opera Category, Silver Medalist - Rock Category, Silver Medalist - Modeling Casual, Silver Medalist - Modeling Formal, and Bronze Medalist in the R&B, Soul, and Jazz Categories.
In the resolution authored by 3rd District Board Member Fred Corona, the victory of the Batangueño from Tanauan was described as a great honor brought not only to the City of Tanauan but also to the Province of Batangas and the entire Philippines.
Furthermore, Millo's success will serve as an inspiration to young people in the province and across the country to work hard and persevere in order to achieve success in any field.
The resolution was created in collaboration with 6th District Board Member Lydio Lopez, 2nd District Board Member Arlene Magboo, and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Provincial Federation Board Member Maria Louise Vale.
