PAKIL, Laguna - The event marked an important milestone for the town's development, as the addition of the batching plant will not only boost the local economy but also create job opportunities for residents, according to the mayor.

Pakil Mayor Vince Soriano participated in the groundbreaking ceremony held on August 8, 2023, at Barangay Burgos and expressed his excitement for the positive impact the new concrete batching plant will have on the community.

He emphasized that this development aligns with the town's vision for growth and sustainability, as it will not only meet the increasing demand for construction materials but also contribute to reducing transportation costs and carbon emissions.

Soriano said this is the second construction plant in Barangay Burgos. It will be remembered that the first one was the Fully Mechanized Hollow Block Factory of Leadline Construction Supply and Services, which was built during his first term.

He said he would continue to invite investors and businesses to come to Pakil in order to provide job opportunities to residents and stimulate economic growth in the area.

By attracting more investors and businesses, Soriano aims to create a thriving local economy that can support the needs and aspirations of Pakil's residents for years to come.

Additionally, the establishment of this new construction plant will not only generate employment opportunities but also contribute to the overall development and modernization of Barangay Burgos.

"We will continue to invite investors to our country so that the opportunities for our countrymen to work together will increase even more," he said.
