SANTA ROSA CITY, Laguna - The collaboration of the Laguna Provincial Government and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Laguna Provincial Office resulted in the successful launch of the Likhang Laguna product seal at the 1st Laguna MSME Summit.

Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez led the opening ceremony of the summit, emphasizing the importance of supporting and empowering MSMEs in the province.

He highlighted the potential of these businesses to contribute to economic growth and job creation in Laguna.

The Likhang Laguna product seal is expected to boost consumer confidence in locally made products and encourage more people to support MSMEs in the province.

Products with the Likhang Laguna Product Seal show that they have undergone a rigorous evaluation process to ensure their quality and authenticity.

This seal serves as a guarantee for consumers that they are purchasing genuine and high-quality products from local MSMEs in Laguna.

"We deeply appreciate the DTI for their continued support and strengthening of local products and small businesses, particularly micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs)," according to Hernandez.

Meanwhwile DTI-Region 4A OIC Regional Director Marissa Argente said that the partnership between the local government and DTI is crucial in fostering the growth and development of MSMEs in Laguna.

She emphasized the importance of providing assistance and opportunities for these businesses to thrive, ultimately contributing to the overall economic progress of the region.

The government of Laguna and DTI are working together to create an enabling environment for MSMEs by implementing programs and initiatives that support their needs.

This collaboration is said to improve access to financing, enhance business skills and knowledge, and promote market linkages for MSMEs in the region.

Through these efforts, they hope to empower MSMEs and help them become more competitive in the local and global market.
