LUCENA CITY - The exceptional performance of the Police Provincial Office (PPO) of the province of Quezon has solidified its position as the top-ranking unit in the region, surpassing other police units in Region IV-A.

Quezon PPO, led by Provincial Director PCOL Ledon Monte, said it once again topped the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) in the entire Region IV-A for the month of July, 2023.

The Quezon PPO received the highest evaluation rating of 95.75, according to the report made public by the Regional Headquarters of the Police Regional Office 4A. Laguna PPO followed with 94.77 and Batangas PPO with 94.41.

Monte said this achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the police officers in Quezon PPO, as well as their commitment to maintaining peace and order in the province.

He said that the high evaluation rating reflects the effectiveness of the strategies and initiatives implemented by Quezon PPO in ensuring the safety and security of the community.

Monte expressed his gratitude to the support and cooperation of the local government and community members in achieving this milestone.

The UPER is an Evaluation Tool used to measure the performance of a PNP unit in its mandate or role of maintaining peace and order.

It assesses various aspects such as crime prevention, law enforcement, and community engagement.

The high evaluation rating of Quezon PPO demonstrates their dedication to fulfilling their duty and protecting the welfare of the province's residents.
