BACOOR CITY, Cavite - Manuel Villar Jr. and his family spearheaded the August 9, 2023, opening of Villar Avenue, a 6.2-kilometer road that would serve as Villar City's main road.
The business project, which will have alternate routes going to the different areas of Cavite and Metro Manila, aims to improve connectivity and ease traffic congestion in the region.
With its strategic location and efficient design, Villar Avenue is expected to provide convenient access for residents, commuters, and businesses alike, fostering economic growth and development in the area.
The tycoon is accompanied by his three children: Vista Land President and CEO Manuel Paolo Villar, Sen. Mark Villar, House Deputy Speaker, and Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar.
People who attended the groundbreaking ceremony expressed their excitement and anticipation for the potential economic growth and job opportunities that the project would bring to Bacoor, including Silang Mayor Atty. Kevin Anarna, Muntinlupa City Mayor Ruffy Biazon, Dasmarinas Mayor Jenny Barzaga, Dasmarinas Rep. Pidi Barzaga, Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla, Bacoor City Mayor Strike Revilla, Imus City Mayor Alex “AA” Advincula, Paranaque Mayor Eric Olivares, General Mariano Alvarez Mayor Maricel Torres, and Gen. Trias City Mayor Luis “Jon-Jon” Ferrer.
Meanwhile, Bacoor City's local government, led by its mayor, expressed its full support and enthusiasm for the launch of Villar City.
Villar City is an area within Bacoor that will be developed in the style of Taguig's Bonifacio Global City.
Recognizing the immense potential and benefits that this development will bring to the city, the mayor emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and private sector to ensure its success.
The 3000-hectare Villar City will have a hotel, golf course, casino, places for leisure, and more , making it a premier destination for tourists and locals alike.
