IMUS CITY, Cavite - The Ceremonial Hall at the Provincial Capitol in Cavite witnessed on July 31, 2023, a momentous gathering of population officers from various cities and municipalities in the province for the World Population Day Forum. The theme of the forum, "110 Milyong Solusyon Tungo sa Pagkamit ng Potensyal ng Bawat Pilipino", highlighted the collective efforts towards unlocking the potential of every Filipino through sustainable population management.

Hosted by the Office of the Provincial Population Officer, the event commenced by extending a warm welcome to distinguished guests from different offices, including Heizel V. Creencia, Nurse IV from the Office of the Provincial Health Officer; Donato A. Bataclan, Principal IV from Rosario National High School; Karen B. Camañag-Tupas, Housing and Homesite Regulation Officer IV from the Office of the Provincial Housing Development and Management Officer; and the honorable Regional Director-CPD-CALABARZON, Marilyn F. Ogaya, MADem.



Ogaya, the keynote speaker, delivered an insightful and engaging discussion on critical topics, including family planning, emerging population trends and issues, prevention of adolescent pregnancies, and the challenges surrounding fertility and family planning. Her expertise shed light on the significance of informed decision-making in shaping the future of Cavite's population.

The interactive session that followed provided an excellent opportunity for the participants to engage directly with the esteemed guest speakers. Through the fruitful exchange of ideas, the attendees actively contributed their perspectives and experiences, fostering a collaborative approach towards addressing population-related concerns in the province.

As a powerful symbol of their dedication and commitment to the cause, all participants enthusiastically signed the "Kaisa Ako sa Solusyon Tungo sa Pagkamit ng Potensyal ng Bawat Pilipino" pledge of commitment. This collective pledge underscores their determination to work hand-in-hand in implementing progressive solutions and policies that empower communities and elevate the quality of life for every Filipino in Cavite.
