Authorities implement security monitoring for the 2023 BSKElection

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna - Members of the Regional Joint Peace Security Control Center (RJPSCC) discussed this Wednesday, October 25, 2023, the preparations and security for the 2023 barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections and identified several key measures to ensure a safe and peaceful electoral process.

These measures include increased police presence in polling stations, strict enforcement of election laws, and the deployment of surveillance cameras in strategic locations.



The RJPSCC emphasized the importance of coordinating with other government agencies to address potential security threats and ensure a smooth election process. They also highlighted the need for public awareness campaigns to promote voter education and discourage any form of violence or intimidation during the elections.

Meanwhile, Armamento highlighted the need for effective coordination and communication among law enforcement agencies, local government units, and other concerned organizations.

He emphasized the significance of sharing timely and accurate information to address any potential security threats and ensure a smooth electoral process.

Armamento also stressed the importance of public awareness campaigns to encourage voter participation and educate citizens about their rights and responsibilities during elections.
