In the Philippines, a missing person website is desperately needed

An increase in missing persons reports has plagued the Philippines in recent years, raising concerns about the safety and security of individuals. The alarming rise in missing persons cases has put a strain on law enforcement agencies, who are now facing the challenge of investigating and resolving these cases effectively.

Many are unsure as to the cause of this, while others say this style of mafia and organized crime brings chills to the nation as individuals fear being targeted or abducted. In addition, the lack of a comprehensive national database or a website for missing persons makes it difficult to track and locate those who have gone missing.

The Philippines doesn't have a website for people who are missing, unlike other countries that have established such platforms to help locate missing individuals or identify unidentified bodies. This lack of a centralized system further hinders efforts to address the issue and provide closure to families affected by disappearances.

Furthermore, the absence of a comprehensive national database also makes it challenging for law enforcement agencies to effectively investigate cases and identify patterns or potential suspects involved in these crimes.

Today, in the Philippines, if someone is found dead, a skeleton will be taken to a forensic anthropologist for examination and identification. However, due to limited resources and expertise, the process can be time-consuming and may not always yield accurate results.

Without a centralized database, it becomes difficult to cross-reference information and connect cases that may be related, hindering the overall progress in solving crimes and providing justice to victims and their families.

In other countries with missing persons websites, the police can just go to the website to find out what the possible identity of the dead is and quickly connect it to any missing persons cases. This streamlined process saves valuable time and resources, allowing law enforcement to focus on investigating and solving crimes more efficiently.

We all know the justice system in the Philippines is crap. Like, until the dead are identified, no case will be properly pursued, and justice will not be served. This lack of efficiency and coordination only adds to the pain and frustration experienced by the victims' families, who are left without closure or answers.

It is crucial for the Philippines to adopt a similar system, as it would greatly improve the chances of bringing justice to those affected by missing persons cases. A missing person website might be painful or hard for others to swallow, but it is a necessary step towards addressing the issue and providing a platform for information sharing and collaboration. It could also serve as a resource for support services and resources for the families of missing persons, offering them much-needed assistance during their difficult times.

A lot of people have been missing for years and have yet to be found, leaving their families and loved ones in a state of perpetual uncertainty and anguish. It is also a puzzle for law enforcement agencies and investigators who are tasked with solving these cases.

People also ask if they are still alive or if criminals hide the bodies somewhere; some are still missing and some were found dead, and the mystery remains unsolved. The emotional toll on the families and loved ones of the missing individuals is immeasurable, as they are left grappling with unanswered questions and a sense of loss that never truly fades.

Criminal mind: if there is no body, there is no crime; however, because there is no website, even if the body is recovered, the police will have a difficult time solving the case due to a lack of physical evidence. Without a body, it becomes challenging to establish crucial elements such as the cause of death or gather forensic evidence that could lead to identifying the perpetrator.

Remember the cockfight enthusiasts who went missing from Manila Arena and were followed by six other players in the same place? The disappearance of the cockfight enthusiasts and the subsequent missing players have raised suspicions of foul play. The lack of bodies and the possibility that criminals may have concealed them add to the complexity of the case. The mystery surrounding their whereabouts remains unsolved to this day, leaving investigators with limited leads to follow.

Just on October 12, 2023, a container drum containing the bones of a corpse was discovered in a part of Sorsogon Bay near the Port of Sorsogon around 1:00 p.m., and according to the report, some fishermen in the locality saw the container drum submerged in the water near the said dock.

It was immediately lifted to see the flesh, where the bones of a corpse were exposed to the fishermen. Currently, the authorities are still trying to find out the identity, gender, and other details about the human skeleton found inside the container drum.

Some families of the missing person said it's better to find dead bodies than to be left wondering and never knowing what happened to their loved ones. The discovery of the human skeleton brings a glimmer of closure, albeit a painful one, as it opens up the possibility of finally finding answers and providing some form of justice for those who have been missing.

Who is behind these missing people and what led to their tragic fate remains a haunting mystery that investigators in the Philippines are determined to unravel. Rumors and speculations have been circulating, adding to the complexity of the case.

Let us just all pray that the truth will be uncovered and that the families of the missing individuals will find solace in knowing what truly happened to their loved ones. The search for answers continues as authorities work tirelessly to bring those responsible to justice and prevent further tragedies from occurring.

And to everybody reading this, always pray, keep safe and always be cautious of your surroundings, as it is important to prioritize personal safety and well-being. You don't want to be a missing person or your family to go through the pain and uncertainty of not knowing your whereabouts.

Remember to stay connected with loved ones, inform them of your plans, and trust your instincts if something feels off. By taking these precautions, we can collectively work towards a safer and more secure society for everyone.
