Laguna gears up to host 12th LCUAA game

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna - The 12th Local Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (LCUAA) National Games are set to take place in Laguna, creating a buzz of excitement and anticipation in the local community.

The LCUAA games, which formally opened at the Laguna Sports Complex on Sunday, October 8, will be the biggest and most competitive yet, with over 20 colleges and universities from all over the country participating.



It will feature a wide range of sporting activities and competitions, ensuring an exciting and engaging experience for everyone involved.

Laguna Gov. Ramil Hernandez, in a statement, welcomed the delegates to the LCUAA games and expressed his gratitude for choosing Laguna as the host city.



He emphasized the importance of sports in promoting unity and camaraderie among students and assured that the province is fully prepared to provide a memorable and successful event for all participants.

Some 2,000 delegates from 23 local colleges and universities in the country are participating in the event, showcasing their skills and talents in various sports disciplines.

The LCUAA games not only serve as a platform for healthy competition but also foster a sense of pride and camaraderie among the participants.

The province of Laguna is excited to witness the athletes' dedication and determination and looks forward to creating lasting memories for everyone involved.

There will be 19 sports events, which will be held until October 13, including basketball, volleyball, swimming, track and field, and badminton.

Each event will showcase the athletes' hard work and passion for their respective sports , as they strive to achieve their personal best and bring honor to their schools or organizations.

The province of Laguna is proud to provide a platform for these talented individuals to showcase their abilities and inspire others with their dedication and perseverance.
