Quezon Dental Chapter hosted "Project Smile, Ngiting Maganda"

LUCENA CITY, Quezon - During "Project Smile, Ngiting Maganda" at the Quezon Dental Chapter of the Rotary Club of Lucena South, over 30 residents here with teeth problems received free dental check-ups and treatments.

Quezon Province Dental Chapter Dra. Cindy Hermogenes and RCLS Hope Creating President Vice Mayor Roderick “Dondon” Alcala graces the event and expressed their gratitude to the volunteers and sponsors who made the project possible.



Hermogenes said that the event aimed to promote oral health awareness and provide dental care to those who may not have access to it. She also emphasized the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene for overall well-being.

She highlighted that the Rotary Club of Lucena South and the Quezon Province Dental Chapter have been working together to organize similar events in different communities to reach more people in need.



Meanwhile, Hope Creating President Vice Mayor Alcala assured that they will continue to support this type of program that can be said to bring smiles and joy to each of its beneficiaries.

He expressed his gratitude to the Rotary Club and the Dental Chapter for their efforts in improving the dental health of the community and mentioned that they are actively looking for ways to expand access to dental care in underserved areas of the province.

Alcala also said bringing smiles is not just about dental health but also about bringing hope and happiness to people's lives. He emphasized the importance of community partnerships in achieving this goal and encouraged other organizations to join in their efforts to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

Residents of the underserved areas expressed their gratitude for Alcala's dedication to improving dental care access. Truly smile worthy, Alcala's efforts have not only improved dental health but also uplifted the spirits of the community members.

QPDC Vice President St. Ferdinand Circle Dr. Gilbert Gabatin and the thirty (30) dentists who examined and measured each one provided with such a denture, ensuring that they were properly fitted and comfortable for the recipients.

Hope Creating Secretary Atty. Kits Lagman and the RCLS with PP Monching Lagumen, Dir. Francis Singson, IPP Jeff Gagalang, and Rotarian Boji Ong were also present at the event, showing their support and appreciation for the hard work of the volunteers and sponsors.
