CALAMBA CITY, Laguna - Police Regional Office Region IV-A has recently added a fleet of state-of-the-art patrol cars to their existing resources that are equipped with advanced communication systems and cutting-edge technology, enabling officers to quickly respond to emergencies and effectively address crime in the area.

According to PRO IV-A Regional Director Paul Kenneth T. Lucas, the new vehicles are important for them because they will provide additional assistance to serve and protect the community in Calabarzon.

He also mentioned that the upgraded patrol cars will enhance the visibility and presence of law enforcement in the region, deterring potential criminals and promoting a safer environment for residents and visitors.

With the new patrol cars, officers will be able to cover a wider area and respond to incidents more efficiently, which will greatly enhance their ability to gather information and coordinate with other law enforcement agencies, resulting in more effective crime prevention and resolution efforts.

Among those who received new vehicles were the Regional Mobile Force Battalion IV-A and the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company of the Laguna Police Provincial Office, which received new Mitsubishi Estrada patrol cars.

30 units of Toyota Hilux patrol jeeps were turned over to the police stations of Cabuyao, San Pablo, Calamba City, and Lumban Municipal Police Station from the Laguna Police Provincial Office; Atimonan, Guinayangan, Quezon Municipal Stations, and Tayabas City Police Station in the Quezon Police Provincial Office; and Antipolo City Police Station in Rizal.

Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Region IV-A Regional Election Officer Atty. Monalisa Mamukid, guests from the Nationwide Multi-Sectoral Peace Assembly for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE), and PRO4A police officers performed the turnover ceremony of police stations in the provinces of Quezon and Rizal.
