ANGONO, Rizal - In early October, Senator Francis "Tol" Tolentino visited this town to bring much-needed assistance and support to the community.

Recognizing the challenges faced by the residents of Angono, Senator Tolentino's visit aimed to address their immediate needs and provide long-term solutions for sustainable development.

An ambulance and the construction of a building worth P10 million were the key initiatives that Senator Tolentino brought to Angono during his visit.

He was welcomed by the residents and government employees, led by Mayor Jeri Mae Calderon and Vice Mayor Gerry Calderon, who expressed their gratitude for Senator Tolentino's support and commitment to improving the lives of the people in Angono.

Mayor Jeri Mae Calderon expressed gratitude for the immediate assistance provided by Senator Tolentino, emphasizing the importance of the ambulance in saving lives during emergencies.

She also highlighted the long-term impact of the building construction, stating that it would contribute to the town's economic growth and provide job opportunities for its residents.

Meanwhile, at the end of this month, the Higantes Festival 2023 will be launched with much anticipation and excitement from both locals and tourists.

The festival, known for its giant papier-mâché figures, showcases the rich cultural heritage of Angono and serves as a platform to promote tourism in the area.

According to the local government of Angono, collaboration between the government and its constituents is crucial to ensuring the success of events like the Higantes Festival.

The festival not only celebrates the town's heritage but also brings economic benefits to the community through increased tourism.
