CALAUAG, Quezon - The members of the Civilian Active Auxiliary (CAA) here experienced a unique opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge through basic military training in Calauag, Quezon which started recently.
This training aimed to equip them with the necessary tools and techniques to support the military in times of need, fostering a stronger sense of camaraderie and preparedness within the community.
It is currently being conducted at the headquarters of the 201st Brigade at Camp General Alfredo M. Santos, Brgy. Rizal Ilaya of the said town, led by the 85th Infantry Battalion.
Of which one hundred and ninety-three (193) are civilian volunteers participating in the said training , while the remaining participants are active military personnel.
The training includes various modules such as first aid, disaster response, and basic military tactics. These modules are designed to enhance the volunteers' skills and knowledge in order to effectively assist the military during emergencies and critical situations.
Meanwhile, such activities are said to be of great help to the military's campaign to maintain order, tranquility, and peace in towns in the province of Quezon.
By involving volunteers in the training, the military can also establish stronger relationships with the local community, fostering a sense of unity and cooperation.
