LUCENA CITY, Quezon - With trees and wreaths beginning to appear, Christmas is on the way, and that means it’s about time to get in the holiday spirit with Quezon Province Capitol’s annual Christmas lights display.

'Paskong Quezonian 2023' was officially launched on November 24, 2023, marking the start of the festive season in the province. The grand event featured a breathtaking light show that illuminated the entire Capitol grounds, captivating both locals and tourists alike.



It rained, but that didn't dampen the enthusiasm of Quezonians, who were eager to witness the dazzling display of lights such as the Yuletide Garden, Lights Tower, Tunnel of Lights, and Belen Village.

The event also showcased various cultural performances and activities, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the celebration. Despite the rain, families and friends gathered together, enjoying the festive ambiance and creating lasting memories.



The display of fireworks illuminated the night sky, filling it with bursts of vibrant colors and adding an extra touch of magic to the already enchanting event. The awe-inspiring spectacle left everyone in awe, creating a sense of wonder and delight among the crowd.

Quezon Governor Angelina "Helen" Tan said the theme of 'Mas makulay ang pasko sa Quezon' reflects the vibrant and joyful spirit of the province during the holiday season. The Christmas lights display is a beloved tradition that brings people together and spreads holiday cheer throughout Quezon.

She also said that the theme of 'Mas makulay ang pasko sa Quezon' encourages everyone to appreciate and be grateful for the blessings they have received throughout the year. The vibrant colors and joyful atmosphere of the Christmas lights display serve as a reminder to find joy and gratitude amidst life's challenges.

Quezon Province Christmas ID 2023, 'Mas Makulay Ang Pasko" Official Music Video was also launched during the event, showcasing the province's vibrant culture and highlighting the importance of unity and celebration during the holiday season. The music video features local talents and iconic landmarks, further enhancing the festive atmosphere of the Christmas lights display.

DPWH-Ilocos Director Ronnel Tan, Quezon Vice Governor Anacleto Alcala III, Quezon 4th District Cong. Keith Micah 'Atorni Mike' Tan, Quezon Provincial Administrator Manuel Butardo, and other government officials attended the event to show their support and appreciation for the tradition.

The locals and tourists can visit Quezon province Christmas decorations from November 24, 2023, to January 7, 2024, to enjoy the festive ambiance and take part in various activities organized by the local government, such as parades, concerts, and food festivals. These events aim to promote tourism and showcase the rich cultural heritage of Quezon Province during the holiday season.
