BACOOR CITY, Cavite - The nego-karts provided by Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) aim to empower the selected residents of Bacoor City by offering them a means to start their own small businesses. These mobile carts enable individuals to sell various products or services, contributing to the local economy and creating opportunities for entrepreneurship.

Congresswoman Lani Mercado-Revilla recently led the giving of nego-karts to eight residents from Bacoor City who were selected by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) to be given economic programs by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

The selection of Negokart recipients went through the evaluation of DOLE Cavite and the DSWD Region IV-A PESO Bacoor, led by Dr. Abraham De Castro, who chose qualified individuals based on their economic needs and potential for entrepreneurship.

The nego-kart, which consists of a vending cart and other items they could use to sell their wares, is a project for ambulant vendors who are looking to start or expand their small businesses. It provides them with a cart equipped with essential tools and supplies, allowing them to sell various goods and services in their communities.

Mercado urged the beneficiaries to grow their businesses, as this would allow them to help their families financially and contribute to the local economy. She emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship in creating opportunities for personal growth and self-sufficiency, encouraging the vendors to take advantage of the resources provided by the nego-kart to maximize their potential for success.

Meanwhile, the Bacoor City Government, led by Mayor Strike Revilla, continues to cooperate with the office of the congressman and the national agencies to meet the needs of Bacooreños when it comes to doing business.

Bacoor Mayor Strike Revilla will also continue to work with Mercado and national government agencies to help city residents start their own businesses.
