In the world of beauty pageants, one name that has been making waves right now and left everyone in awe is Michelle Dee. With her stunning looks and captivating presence, she has become a shining star in the universe of beauty and empowerment.

Michelle’s journey in the pageant world in the Philippines has been nothing short of remarkable, as she continues to break barriers and inspire women around the globe. Her dedication to using her platform for meaningful causes and advocating for inclusivity has solidified her as a true role model for aspiring beauty queens everywhere.

In the recent 72nd Miss Universe, she was in the top 10, but the top 5 eluded her. However, Michelle’s impact and influence extend far beyond the competition itself. She achieved numerous awards and recognitions for her advocacy work, including being named the Voice for Change Award, the Carnival Cruise Award, the No. 1 Fan Vote, and Best National Costume.

As one of the Voice for Change Award Gold winners alongside Angola and Puerto Rico, Michelle was one of three candidates to take home a cash prize of $12,000 (approximately P665,000). Michelle’s dedication to advocacy and her ability to inspire change earned her the prestigious Voice for Change Award. This recognition not only highlights her success in the competition but also showcases her commitment to making a positive impact on society.

Although she was not crowned the winner of the overall pageant, her fellow Filipinos were still proud of her accomplishments and the positive representation she brought to their country. Michelle’s journey in the pageant served as an inspiration to many aspiring advocates and showed that even without winning the crown, one can still make a significant difference in the world.

Miss Universe is over, but controversy is still surrounding the pageant’s judging process. Many viewers and fans have expressed their disappointment and questioned the fairness of the results. Despite this controversy, Michelle’s impact and dedication to her advocacy continue to resonate with people worldwide, reminding us that true success goes beyond a title or a crown.

Michelle believes there should be no space for error, but we live in an imperfect world where mistakes can happen. It is important to remember that the judging process for Miss Universe, like any other competition, is subjective and can be influenced by various factors. While controversy may arise, it is crucial to focus on the positive impact that Michelle and other contestants have made in promoting their advocacies and inspiring others.

She also said her request is not just to be respectful to the delegates but also to the supporters who are so passionate about this platform that everything happens for a reason and it’s just a matter of seeing it as a lesson or a blessing.

Who are we to question or condemn the experiences and lessons that these contestants have gone through, if that is her mindset? It is important to remember that everyone’s journey is unique, and what may seem like a setback or controversy can actually be a valuable learning opportunity for personal growth. Let’s all focus on the positive impact and lessons learned.
